Governor Information
School governors are volunteers responsible for overseeing the management side of a school. They focus on strategy, policy, budgeting, and staffing, working alongside senior leaders and supporting teachers to provide excellent education to children.
Governors also help to make big decisions about our Federation’s long-term goals. They support the Executive Head Teacher (EHT), but also ask questions and make sure the EHT is taking the Federation in the right direction.
The main responsibilities of a school governor include:
- Ensuring the strategic direction, vision and ethos of a school.
- Holding executive leaders within a school to account on various issues.
- Overseeing financial performance and ensuring money is well spent across a school.

Our Governors
Whilst Crosfield and Selhurst are two distinct schools, as a Federation, they share one Executive Head Teacher and one Governing Board.
Our Chair of Governors is Laura Vogel and our Co-Vice Chairs are Amy Foster and Rebecca Martin.
