South Norwood Community Kitchen (SNCK)

'At South Norwood Community Kitchen we use the power of food to bring our community together and make it stronger to build collective action. We take unloved food that would otherwise go to waste and we transform it into fine-dining deliciousness for everyone. 

The kitchen is much more than just a place to eat. It's where people form new friendships and a sense of belonging. It's where people get the help they really need, whilst also participating as equal collaborators in building a society where poverty no longer limits people's potential to live the life they want.'

South Norwood Community Kitchen are also supporting our campaign to retain all 5 Maintained Nursery Schools in Croydon, and held a 'Day of Action' back in October 2023.
